Seems obfuscation task completed before build.
If you're using VS2005, you can use MSBuild integration to embed obfuscation directly before deployment task.
Also - please check obfuscation configuration, deployment project usually uses assemblies from bin\\Release folder, in that case you should clear SaveToDirectory property in associated Spices.Project.
