Same problem
- Unable to download an appropriate decompressor. (Error=80040200)
Cannot play back the video stream: no suitable decompressor could be found. (Error=80040255)

did you tried to play this file in the Windows Media Player?

ya but Camtasia renders the wmv real bad so it's hard to see what I mean .. I'll try another format

oh btw, *.mov is QuickTime .. you need the QuickTime player

Maybe you can try the VLC media player. That one definitely can play those files: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

I've downloaded Quikctime and tried to play the .mov file, but unsuccessfully - required decompressor couldn't be found.
Also I'v tried some free divx-players (that can play avi and mov files) but perhaps problem in format of your file. Please send me the file that can be played on Media Player 10.

the first file (.avi) plays fine in media player for me. Can you try this free open source player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ ?
When I render video output to wmv it looks real ugly and it will only let me do at a bad frame rate

Yes, I've downloaded and installed VLC and now can see the demo. But please describe the problem, I can't notice in what problem, help me please.
